We are a group of very senior ladies(ages 70-92)who take part in Senior Fitness classes on Wednesdays and Fridays at Jack Purcell Community Centre. We all count very much on the classes and the coffee sessions because of both the fitness and social aspects. At the end of August the Second Cup nearest Jack Purcell closed leaving us 'homeless' for our after class coffee. Samir at Second Cup, 216 Elgin, agreed to reserve space in the back for 10:45 to 11:45 each Wed. and Fri. The group has convened there three times already and we are most grateful for the kindness of Samir and his understanding of how important this is to us--excellent customer service, much appreciated by some senior citizens.
Dirty, unpleasant staff, I also got food poisoned from them a very bad case of salmonella and I was in the hospital for days.
Poor...bad customer service, rude employees. old food. don't go there.
Worst branch ever
Very poor service not to mention dirty
Yes they are very community minded and very generous of their time and space. Nomination worthy of a grand service award if you ask me.. Observer..
It has always been clean and and the service is great, I go there because it is awesome..
Great coffee and food -- especially the lemon poppyseed loaf. And thank you to the great staff that let the runners use their restroom before the start of the Army Run.
